Invite someone to your household
Share your meal plan and grocery list by inviting someone to join your household.
Who can send an invite?
A Chef can invite people when the household has Good Fork Pro. If you’re a Sous Chef or Kid, ask a Chef to send the invite.
Send an invite
Open Settings, then Household.
Choose Invite someone, then Invite a Sous Chef or Invite a Kid.
Check the role and create the invite.
Send the invite link or code to the person you’d like to join.
Inviting a Kid
Kid accounts are for ages 13 and up. When you create the invite, the app asks you to confirm their age and that you’re their parent or guardian, or have their permission.
Kids can mark favorites and suggest meals. Once they’ve joined, a Chef can also choose whether they can use Groceries.
How to join
The person you invite can open the link and follow the steps in the app. If they have a code instead, they can choose Have an invite code?, enter it, and choose Join.
You can belong to one household at a time. If they’re already in another household, they’ll need to leave it before joining yours. Leaving can affect access to that household’s recipes, plan, and grocery list, so check the explanation in the app before continuing.
If the invite doesn’t work
Invites expire after 24 hours. Check the code for typing mistakes, or ask a Chef to send a new invite. You’ll also need a new invite if you chose the wrong role.
