Getting started
Get started with Good Fork
Plan a few meals, see what you need to buy, and get ready to cook.
Pick a few meals for the week
Start with a few dinners you’d like to make. You can choose recipes from Good Fork or save ones you’ve found elsewhere.
Open Plan and choose Add meals.
Choose your recipes. If you use Scheduled planning, add them to the days you want to cook. With Flexible planning, keep a list for the week and decide on the day.
Choose Done to return to your plan. Your meals are saved as you add them.
See what you need to buy
Open Groceries to see the ingredients for your planned meals, grouped by aisle. Check what you already have at home, then add any extras you need, such as milk, fruit, or household supplies.
Make your first meal
Open a recipe and check the servings before you begin. Choose Start cooking to follow it step by step. You can move back and forth through the instructions and start timers as you need them.
Bring your own recipes
Found something you’d like to try? Open Curate to save it from a website link, some recipe text, or a photo. Check the ingredients and steps against the original before saving.
Plan on your own or with other people
Good Fork works for one person, too. If you’d like someone else to help plan, shop, or cook, a Chef can invite them from Household in Settings. Sharing a household requires Good Fork Pro.
