Saving and managing recipes

Save a recipe from a link

Keep a recipe you found online by pasting its link into Curate.

iPhone · iPad · AndroidFree and ProLast reviewed

Before you start

Open the recipe you want to keep and copy its web address. Use the recipe’s own page, where you can see the ingredients and instructions. A link to a blog’s homepage or a search result may not include the recipe.

Save your recipe

  1. Open Curate in Good Fork.

  2. Paste the link into Paste a link or type a recipe, then choose Import.

  3. Compare the ingredients, quantities, and steps with the original. Correct anything that’s missing or doesn’t look right, then save the recipe.

If the import doesn’t work

Some sites prevent Good Fork from reading their pages. First, open the link in your browser to check that it leads to the full recipe.

If the recipe still won’t import, copy its ingredients and instructions and paste that text into Curate instead. For a printed recipe or a screenshot, use Scan a recipe.

Ready to use it?

Once you’ve saved the recipe, you can add it to your meal plan or open it whenever you’re ready to cook.
